A fraudster has been found guilty of trying to sell fake iPhones in Watford for hundreds of pounds.

Dwayne Lindo, of Pattenden Road in Catford, London, previously denied two fraud charges relating to selling and attempting to sell the counterfeit phones.

The incidents were in November and December 2019 and one saw the 32-year-old pocket £650.

Lindo pleaded not guilty but was found guilty on Thursday (March 24) following a trial and ordered to pay £650 compensation, £300 costs.

He was also made to pay a £240 fine and a £34 victim services surcharge – taking the total to £1,224.
