Hello, my name is Sweetie Pie and I came to the National Animal Welfare Trust a few weeks ago when my owner sadly had to go into a home.

As my name suggests, I’m a sweet 15-year-old boy looking for a nice quiet retirement home. I’m quite nervous here at the centre and spend most of my day in my bed.

Once I’ve settled in, I’d love a garden to explore before coming home and curling up in the warmth. I’ll need space and time to get used to a new home and people and I’m not keen on being picked up. I would enjoy a little head scratch though, once I’m comfortable with you but it may take me a little time to get used to a new place.

Watford Observer:

I’m looking for an adult-only home where I can relax and enjoy the quiet life. Ideally, I’d also like to be the only pet in the home so I get all your care and attention.

Like many cats my age, I have hyperthyroidism, which is kept under control by daily tablets. These are cheap to buy so hopefully that won’t put you off giving me a loving home.

Watford Observer:

Coming from the NAWT, I’ve been medically checked by a vet, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and neutered and come with four free weeks of Petplan insurance.

If you think we could keep each other company, email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 0208 950 0177 (option 2) to arrange a visit.
