A car was destroyed as two fires were set outside a house that has been targeted three times.

Police have now shared more information on a series of attacks to a property at Green Lane in Oxhey Hall.

In May 2019 the homeowner’s white BMW was deliberately set alight, which completely wrecked the car and also damaged a Hyundai.

Then in July that year, burn marks were found on the victim’s garage door with fire starting equipment spotted near the house.

Most recently, CCTV footage captured a man throwing bitumen paint all over the drive and entrance.

A short video was released as part of a police appeal, which shows the moment a man approached the home with a bucket and poured paint across the front entrance.

Detective Constable Steve Mason says the force believes the victim is being “targeted” and they hope to find the person responsible for the arson and criminal damage.
