The following announcements were carried in the Watford Observer last week:

Patricia “Patsy” Gledhill – Patsy passed away peacefully, after a short illness, on 26th March 2022, aged 74 years. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Richard and daughters Michelle and Jasmine, sisters Geraldine and Julie and their families.

McDONNELL Alyson Margaret – Passed away peacefully with her family beside her on Thursday 17th March 2022 aged 59 years. Beloved Wife of Peter. A much loved Mum of Lucy and Tom, Nanny, Daughter and Sister. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Anne-Marie ROBB (nee Sylvester) – Sadly passed away aged 75 with her family by her side. Beloved wife to the late James and adored mother to Simon & Andrew. She fought hard to stay with her family. She will be missed forever.

SILLS Shirley Ann – Passed away at home on Monday 14th March 2022 aged 88 years. She was much loved and will be sadly missed by her Husband David, Daughter Jenny, Son Mike and her family and friends.

THOMAS Muriel Norah “Mollie” (nee Norcutt) – Died peacefully at home on 27 March 2022, aged 94. Mollie was born at Bushey Heath in 1927, attended Merry Hill School, and Watford Grammar School for Girls 1938-45. She trained as a teacher and settled in Worcestershire. Mollie wrote several articles for the Friends of Bushey Museum Journal about her memories of pre-war and wartime Bushey Heath. Greatly missed by her children, grandsons, great-grandsons and wider family.

WHALLEY HARVEY DOUGLAS – Sadly passed away on 8th March aged 78 years. Harvey was a much loved Dad, Grandad and Brother and will be sadly missed by Daughters Joanne and Louise, Grandchildren Georgia and Jack, family and friends.

Kathleen Willimott (nee Chester) – Peacefully passed away, aged 79 on Tuesday 22nd March. Mother to Linda, Sherry, Kathy, and Liam; grandmother to Eric, James, Gavin, Gary, Toni, Chad, Casey, Tansy, Faye, Scott, and Acer and great-grandmother to fifteen. A loving sister to Elizabeth, William, Patricia, Tommy, Maureen, Rita, Steven, Johnny and Ellen; a soul mate to Barry and friend to many. With our thanks to the staff at Florence Nightingale Hospice and the Palliative Care nurses.
