A man has denied multiple theft charges after allegedly stealing Red Bulls, chocolate bars and coffee jars from Watford stores.
Sergiu Rotari, of Charter Place in Watford, has been accused of nabbing 24 cans of Red Bull from St Albans Road’s Tesco Express on June 15 last year.
The 32-year-old also allegedly took 68 chocolate bars and four coffee jars worth £88 from Co-op in York Way earlier that month, before stealing seven coffee jars with more chocolates on September 5.
Rotari is also charged with stealing three bottles of wine and a can of gin and tonic worth £23.60 from Co-op.
He has denied all the charges and last week St Albans Magistrates’ Court granted him unconditional bail.
A trial has been scheduled at the same court for July 5.
