A “magical” spot for bluebells that is usually closed to the public is being opened for the weekend.

Located in Crosslane Wood just outside of Chorleywood, the two-day offer is available for all ages and allows dogs on leads.

Visitors will also be able to take a pit-stop at a pop-up café. Tickets for Saturday can be purchased online here and Sunday here.

Money raised will go to Mission EmployAble, a Chorleywood-based charity that trains young adults with learning disabilities in numerous skills such as food preparation and till work.

This year’s event comes after last year’s success which raised £4,000.

Kathy Walton, a member of the fundraising committee, said: “We were thrilled with it last year, there was a tremendous sense of good will from everybody who came.

“Nobody had even been in those woods before, and they were amazed. One visitor said it was magical.”
