A man who is said to have made over 2,000 child porn photographs will appear for sentencing.
Philip Graves, of St Albans Road, Watford, was committed to crown court after appearing at St Albans Magistrates’ Court on April 11.
The court heard that on or before May 11, 2020, Graves made 2,526 still indecent photographs and 73 videos of children.
It was also said that he possessed 37 pornographic images of a person performing sexual intercourse with a live or dead animal.
According to the court, it was “grossly offensive, disgusting or otherwise of an obscene character”.
At the Magistrates’ Court, he pleaded guilty to the charges.
Graves will be at St Albans Crown Court on May 6.
Until then, he is not allowed to have any unsupervised access to a person under 18 and cannot use any file sharing or torrent sites for any reason.
Graves is also required to register with the police in accordance with the Sexual Offences Act.
