A woman who is accused of stalking David Beckham and his family has been remanded on bail.

Sharon Bell, of Watford, is accused of sending a letter to Beckham’s Oxford home before turning up there on the day it was received – July 9, 2021.

The former Manchester United and England midfielder also received another letter at his London homme on September 9, 2021 – with Bell also turning up there on the same day, a judge was told.

Bell, 58, is accused of sending a third letter, said to have been received at Beckham’s London address on October 6, 2021.

On November 18, 2021, she allegedly turned up at the London primary school of his daughter, Harper, in a bid to see her.

The woman from Boundary Way previously denied the charges on March 28 this year.

On April 22, the court said she was remanded on bail until May 13 to consider a hearsay application - evidence used to prove something at trial from a witness who is not in court.

During this time, her ban remains from contacting any of the Beckham family and to not go within 500 metres of their London or Oxford home or any address Ms Bell believes the Beckhams reside at.

Bell must also not go within 500 metres of the school Harper Beckham attends.

She will appear next at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on May 13.
