Community leaders of all backgrounds came together to celebrate Ramadan Iftar, the meal eaten by Muslims after ending their daily fast during Ramadan.
Ramadan remembers the month the Qur'an (the Muslim holy book) was first revealed to the Prophet Muhammad.
The event held by Watford charity One Vision, on April 30, at the British Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventist’s, was attended by Muslim and Christian religious leaders, members of the Afghan community and the fire service.

The evening included speeches, prayers and a joint meal.
The high sheriff of Hertfordshire Sally Burton, MP Dean Russell, Matt Nicholls the assistant chief constable of Hertfordshire, and councillor Asif Khan also attended.
Mr Nicholls said: “It was an honour… to be part of a special occasion with many other faith leaders and a truly multicultural audience.
“This was an opportunity, organised by One Vision, to meet with and better understand people from other cultures and backgrounds which will help the Constabulary build trust and confidence with these communities and in turn create greater social cohesion across the county."
