A bike belonging to a “vulnerable victim” has been stolen.

Police say the bike was left outside Greggs in Station Approach, just by Carpenders Park Railway Station on April 19 and stolen at around 11.35am.

The bike is described as a black Carrera Vulkan, with flashes of green and pink and red markings on the handlebars.

PC Dafydd Dewey, from the Three Rivers safer neighbourhood team, said: “This offence caused considerable distress to a vulnerable victim and we are doing all we can to find the person responsible.”

A CCTV image has been released of a man near the station at the time who may have key information on what happened.

Anyone who recognises him or has information is asked to call police on 101 or email Dafydd.Dewey@herts.police.uk quoting crime reference 41/31057/22.
