Hello there! My name is Crunchie and I’m a two-year-old single male guinea pig who’s looking for a new home.

I am a bit worried by people at the moment and will run and hide when they appear, but when I know there’s veg on offer I soon come running out!

I’ve lived with a male before but we had to be split up as I was a bit bossy. Because of this I’m looking for a home with female guinea pigs (I’ll be neutered soon so I don’t make any baby guinea pigs).

Watford Observer:

I currently live indoors so will need to live inside in my new home. In the warmer months I could be moved outside gradually, but I’ll need to be protected from cold weather.

And I’m Bertie, a two-year-old single male guinea pig also looking for a new home.

I currently live on my own and that is no fun at all! I’d really like my new home to have another guinea pig I can bond with. If it’s a girl, I’ll need to be neutered first - we don't need any more guinea pigs looking for homes! If they’re male then it would be great if they’re a gentle, calm boy like me.

Watford Observer:

I’m a bit worried by people but the way to my heart is through my stomach - I love my vegetables. When picked up I’ll quickly settle onto someone’s lap, as long as there’s some food to keep me entertained.

We really hope our new homes are out there somewhere!

If you can offer Crunchie or Bertie good homes, email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 020 8 950 0177 (option 2).
