One person had to be freed by firefighters following a two-car crash that saw an air ambulance called.
Emergency services were called to Chorleywood Road in Rickmansworth at 5.30pm yesterday (July 3).
Police say the crash involved a blue Vauxhall Insignia and a silver Toyota and the road was closed.
Fire crews from Rickmansworth and Watford attended and tweeted that one person was trapped and had to be released by firefighters.

The fire service added it helped provide “trauma care” for the patient until the ambulance service arrived.
Police said the patient was taken to hospital to have a leg injury assessed. It’s not clear whether they were transported by road or air.
Chorleywood Road has now reopened.
