A road is currently closed because of urgent water repairs.

The Green in Croxley Green was shut yesterday in both directions by Affinity Water with the supplier digging into the road.

It is closed for "essential maintenance" by the junction where Sarratt Road and The Green meet.

A permit has been granted to keep the road closed until tomorrow (July 8), according to traffic data management website One Network.

Diversion signs are in place for motorists.

Meanwhile, New Road in Sarratt is to be closed later this month by Affinity Water.

A water pipe upgrade will keep the road shut from July 25 until August 19.

A diversion will take motorists via the A404, Sarratt Road, and Solesbridge Lane.
