Two proposals for significant housing developments are among the planning applications validated by Watford, Three Rivers and Dacorum councils this week.

As the Watford Observer has reported this week, major plans have submitted to redevelop a car showroom in Watford.

The application would see the Glyn Hopkin site in Lower High Street replaced by 193 homes if it is approved and the scheme goes ahead.

Meanwhile, plans were previously submitted to Hertsmere Borough Council to build around 300 homes and a primary school on farmland in Bushey.
