- Vehicle fires have broken out on the M1 and M25 near Watford this afternoon
- The first happened on the M1 northbound carriageway just before Bricket Wood shortly after 2.30pm
- It was described on social media as a "huge" car fire that left the motorway at a standstill
- Fire crews attended and the fire is now out
- It caused delays of nearly an hour - queues have now cleared
- Meanwhile, a second vehicle fire broke out - this time on the M25
- The blaze on the clockwise carriageway between junction 18 for Rickmansworth and 19 for Watford is now out
- However, a "large" amount of oil has spilled from the burnt out car onto the carriageway, shutting three lanes of four
- As of 6pm, there were delays on the M25 clockwise approaching the scene of around 1 hour and a half
