The latest crash at the notorious Woodmere Avenue width restriction had people in hysterics and questioning if the car can be heard “crying”.

The Watford crash hotspot has become famed for catching out drivers trying to navigate its bollards – with one compilation including a police car going viral.

In the latest video, posted yesterday, some people were left in stitches as another victim fails to get through before their car appears to start wailing!

Just when you think it’s over, it can be heard letting out a final whimper.

One person responded saying “Oh no never heard a car actually cry before”, while another said “shouldn’t laugh but the noise of the tyre kills me”.

The width restriction has long divided opinion with some claiming it is dangerous while others believe drivers need to take more care.

Plans have been in the pipeline to replace it with cameras in 2023, but the council hinted it may remove it sooner following a public consultation.
