Take a look inside a Watford pub that reopened with a brand-new look just in time before England won the Women’s Euro 2022 final.

The Wishing Well in St Albans Road has now relaunched as Cother Arms after it closed its doors for refurbishment on July 27.

It was taken over by Craft Union Pub Company which is part of the Stonegate Group, the UK’s largest pubs operator.

After it finally opened doors as the Cother Arms on Saturday (July 30), a social media post read: “That’s right… WE ARE OPEN!!!

“You have come in your forces and certainly made our first day a busy one!! It’s so lovely to welcome you all 'home', my God we’ve missed you!!”

Fortunately the opening was conveniently timed to welcome punters in to see the Lionesses’ bring it home after their Euro victory.
