Month-long roadworks are nearing their end after repeatedly causing delays in Watford.
The temporary traffic lights in Rickmansworth Road at the junction of Hagden Lane and Metropolitan Station Approach are set to be removed by Friday, August 26.
They first appeared on July 25 to enable work on the junction's signals, but at times they reportedly caused queues tailing back more than 200 yards.

The footway at Metropolitan Station Approached has remained open during the works.
Hertfordshire County Council warned motorists that delays were expected throughout the month and advised them to plan ahead.
