- Firefighters were called to a small fire at the station, and commuters were evacuated and left standing outside in the rain.
- The station was closed just after 8am - it was initially estimated that it would reopen by 9.30am, but this was delayed.
- The station reopened later this morning and disruptions were over after 12pm.
