Hello! We’re Buttercup and Clover, a mixed pair of eight-week-old rabbits looking for a new home together.

We were born here at the National Animal Welfare Trust so we’ve been regularly handled and socialised, but we still need some help learning that people aren’t scary.

We could live in a home with children as long as the family are aware we’re not toys and the adults take responsibility for our care. We could also live with cats and dogs that are used to being around rabbits and can be calm around us. Having said that, we’d need to be kept apart from cats and dogs via a secure barrier as we’re prey animals and may find them frightening.

At the moment we live inside but could gradually be transitioned to live outside. Our accommodation needs to have a living area of at least 6ft x 2ft x 2ft so we’ve got room to run and hop, plus an attached run of at least 8ft x 6ft x 3ft that we can access whenever we want.

We rabbits are very inquisitive and intelligent so also need toys to stop us getting bored. As for food, hay or grass (but not cuttings) is the most important food for us to eat and we love our veggie treats.

If you can provide a good home for a pair of gorgeous bunnies, apply to meet us today. Call 0208 950 0177 (option 2) or email reception@nawt.org.uk.
