Proposals for a new apartment block in a residential road are among the planning applications submitted to Watford, Three Rivers, Hertsmere and Dacorum councils.

The scheme would involve the demolition of two existing dwellings in King Georges Avenue, Watford, and the building of a block of nine flats with associated parking.

The application has been made after a planning appeal regarding a previous proposal was rejected by an inspector at the start of this year.
