Paul Rainbow, who is responsible for transport and economic development at the council, said: “Waiting for a bus can be an uncertain business, especially if you live with mobility issues, and can even lead to potential passengers deciding to take alternative modes of transport.

“These new information displays will give passengers much more certainty, with live updates so they know exactly when the next bus will arrive and if there have been any delays.”
