The case of a woman allegedly approaching people pretending to be a doctor at Watford General has been dropped.
The women’s and children’s building was “locked down” on August 12 after reports of a woman behaving suspiciously.
When questioned, the woman reportedly fled, before later being arrested on suspicion of impersonating a doctor.
Hertfordshire Constabulary has now confirmed the woman in her 20s has reached the end of her bail.

A spokesperson said: “The case of impersonating a doctor has been no further actioned due to insufficient evidence to prosecute.”
However, the woman has been given a community protection warning which states she must not enter the hospital grounds, unless for medical attention or for a pre-arranged appointment.
Sally Tucker, the West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust chief operating officer, previously explained that security was tightened in the building with increased patrols after the incident.
