- Lower High Street, Watford, has been closed by police while paramedics help a man who requires urgent medical attention.
- Police asked motorists to avoid the area for around half an hour after it was closed, just before 5pm.
- The closure is causing travel chaos as the Watford home game has recently finished.
- Police have confirmed no vehicles were involved in the medical episode, and that the man has sadly died.
- A police cordon was reportedly put in place just after 6pm.
