History lovers have been urged to have their say on moving Watford Museum from its current historic site to the town hall.
Watford Borough Council is considering the museum from its current site – the former Benskins Brewery at Benskin House in Lower High Street – to the top of the Parade as part of the Town Hall Quarter Programme.

Mayor Peter Taylor and deputy mayor Aga Dychton said the council has its own ideas about the museum but they want to include the public’s views as well.
In a joint statement, they said: “We are working on proposals for the future of Watford Museum, which will allow us to bid for funding (such as to National Heritage Lottery Fund) to take our plans forward.
“We have some ideas but would love to hear your views.
“This short survey is an opportunity for you to tell what you think of the current museum, if you have visited, and, if you have never visited, why this is the case.
“What you tell us will make a really important contribution to any future bids we make.”
The survey asks if people would be more likely to visit the museum if it moved to the town hall.
The move would be part of the council’s multimillion Town Hall Quarter programme, which aims to make "significant investment" in the town culturally.
The council's cabinet approved the plans to relocate Watford Museum to the town hall in December 2021.
Work on the town hall is currently expected to commence in 2023 and complete in 2024, at which point work to move the museum can begin.
The town's mayor Peter Taylor has said moving the museum into the town hall makes a "better use" of the Grade II listed building.
In 2018, the council said it would not be expanding the museum in its current home at Benskin House because it was not "financially viable".
