Hello there! My name’s Lolita and I’m a beautiful Shepherd Akita cross being cared for by the National Animal Welfare Trust.

As a typical one-year-old, I’m big and bouncy and could do with learning some manners. I tend to jump up a little but it’s just because I’m super excited to see you and would really like some fuss.

I’ll definitely keep you on your toes with my cheeky personality but I’m a big softie who just needs a good routine and someone to teach me how to behave.

Because of my size and age, it would be best if I found a home with people who’re experienced with large breeds and have the time to dedicate to my training. This shouldn’t be too hard as I love my food and being told I’m a good girl!

I’ll need a home with a large garden to explore and preferably someone who’s home a lot of the time as I don’t really like being left. I could live with adults or a family and could even live with a young dog who’s big enough to play with me. (We’d need to make sure we got on here at the NAWT before going home together).

As you can see from my pictures, I’m a happy, pretty girl who just hasn’t had the best start in life. I’d love to find my best friend so we can have adventures together. If that could be you, email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 0208 950 0177 (option 2) so we can meet.
