A bus was involved in a crash on a busy roundabout at the weekend.

The single-decker Arriva service collided with a Range Rover on the A405 in Chiswell Green on Saturday afternoon.

Police say officers were called just before 4.10pm and the Noke Roundabout was left partially blocked by those involved and police vehicles.

There were no reports of any injuries but both the bus and Range Rover needed to be recovered.

The roundabout was clear by around 6pm, police added.

While the incident was ongoing, there were heavy traffic delays, including on the A405 from Chiswell Green towards Bricket Road.

Watford Road from Chiswell Green to the roundabout, by the Shell petrol station, was also very slow at one stage.
