Hello there! My name is Flash and this is my friend Magic. We came to the National Animal Welfare Trust a month ago when our owner was made homeless. We’re a pair of two-year-old male guinea pigs looking for a new home together as we’re very good friends.

We currently live in a heated outdoor area so we could live inside or in a similar outdoor set-up. We really enjoy fresh herbs and greens, fresh hay to wear down our constantly-growing teeth, as well as some juicy green grass (but not cuttings). As we can’t make our own Vitamin C, many owners also give us a supplement. If there was a run outside for us that would be great so we could have a little potter around.

Watford Observer:

We can live with children of any age but will need to be an adult to be responsible for our care. We can't live with any other guinea pigs but we can live with other pets, such as cats and dogs, as long as we’re securely housed.

Watford Observer:

We’ll need to live in accommodation of at least 5ft x 2ft x 2ft and even bigger would be great. We guinea pigs make very popular pets as we’re usually happier to be handled than other small animals and are awake during the day when you are.

We look forward to meeting our new family. If that could be you, email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 0208 950 0177 (option 2) to meet us.
