Passengers can travel around Watford for £1 per journey to celebrate all things environmentally friendly.

From October 31 to November 6 ArrivaClick is offering travel at a reduced rate to coincide with Watford’s The Great Big Green Week.

The scheme is part of a national campaign to encourage people to live more sustainably.

Prices for the service normally start at £1 and increase depending on the journey’s distance.

Wheelchair users and people with pushchairs should select “wheelchair user” to ensure they are allocated space in the minibus.

The services operates between:

  • 6am - 10pm Monday to Thursday
  • 6am - 11pm Friday and Saturday
  • 8am - 9pm Sunday

ArrivaClick’s offer comes months after it was revealed the service was under threat due to low passenger numbers.

Between January and April 2022, only around 5,000 of the 76,000 rides Watford Borough Council had forecast happened.

The service can be booked via the ‘ArrivaClick Watford’ app in the Apple or Google Play stores or at www.watford.gov.uk/arrivaclick.
