Two men have been arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm (ABH) after a woman was allegedly "assaulted" in Rickmansworth.

The incident took place in Old Chorleywood Road, Rickmansworth, between 7.35am and 7.50am on Wednesday, October 26.

It's claimed that a woman was assaulted before getting into a vehicle which then sped away from the scene.

She is being provided with support, police have said.

The vehicle was then located by officers in Scots Hill.

A 25-year-old man from Harrow and a 28-year-old man from Edgware were arrested on suspicion of ABH and drink driving.

They have been bailed while enquiries continue.

PC Abi Wilkins, who is investigating, said: “Although two arrests have been made, we are still appealing for witnesses to come forward.

“We believe that a number of people may have seen the incident and we’re keen to hear from anyone who hasn’t already spoken to police.
