- The M1 is closed southbound between junction 4 and 1 due to a fallen down tree which is blocking the carriageway.
- Traffic is at a standstill and heading as far back as junction 5
- Delays of 60 minutes have been predicted
- Drivers have been told to take other routes if possible
- All lanes have now reopened
