Hi there, my name’s Gruffalo and I’m a ten-year-old little man looking for a new home. I came to the National Animal Welfare Trust a couple of weeks ago from the pound so it's difficult to say what breed I am. Let’s just go with terrier!

I love to sleep, enjoy cuddles and don't want to walk too far at my age. I’m looking for a nice, peaceful home.

I’m good with children of any age but would prefer it if they just visited so I could have some peace and quiet. I could live with a dog of similar age who enjoys the same things as me and isn't too lively. I could also live with a dog-savvy cat, as long as we’re introduced in the right way.

Watford Observer:

I’m a bit of a scruffy lad and I recently had dental treatment when all but one of my teeth were removed. I need a soft diet now to make it easier for me to eat, and I really appreciate having company when it’s dinner time.

I could be left on my own for a couple of hours, but not really more than that as I’d be lonely and would also struggle to hold my bladder.

Watford Observer:

With winter approaching, I’m really hoping I find a new home soon so I’ll have a warm, cosy bed to snuggle up in and snooze the day away!

If you can give Gruffalo the loving home he deserves, email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 0208 950 0177 (option 2).
