The death of a man who was found with a head injury is not being treated as suspicious, police have confirmed.

Emergency services were called to Parsonage Road in Rickmansworth on November 7 – following which the area was taped off throughout the day.

Herts Police later said a man in his 40s, who had been found with a head injury, had died and that investigations were ongoing to establish the circumstances.

This morning (November 16) a force spokesperson confirmed the death is not being treated as suspicious and there is no more police involvement.

A file has been prepared for the coroner, they added.

The heavy police presence was first seen at 6.15am and focused on a residential building in Parsonage Road – with the area locked down for around 14 hours.

At the time officers said the East of England Ambulance Service called them about concern for the welfare of a man with a head injury before treating him at the scene.
