Two vehicles had to be recovered following a crash on a dual carriageway this morning (November 18).

A BMW 230i and a Volkswagen Golf collided on the A405 at the junction with Greenwood Drive, Watford, just before 7.45am.

Police officers and paramedics attended and some road closures were put in place while the incident was dealt with.

Hertfordshire Constabulary says no one was reported to have been seriously injured but debris had to be cleared from the carriageway and recovery was needed for the vehicles involved.
