A proposal to change the use of the former John Lewis store in Watford is among this week's planning applications in Watford, Hertsmere and Dacorum.

As we reported on Friday, an application has been lodged with Watford Borough Council to change the use of the site from retail to "retail, leisure, the sale of food and beverage for consumption (mostly) on the premises, and/or services offices".
