The timetable and route for the annual Christmas sleigh in Watford has been announced.

Families will be able to get into the festive spirit when Watford Rotary Club’s Santa sleigh visits their street in December.

A total of 11 routes have been drawn up beginning on Monday December 5 and lasting until Tuesday December 20. Every sleigh ride will begin at 6pm.

This year, a brand new route has been added that travels through Leavesden and Woodside.

When the sleigh passes, Rotarians will be collecting any donations for charities and good causes.

Monday December 5 – Bucknalls Lane and Coates Way, Garston

List of roads: Lemonfield Drive, Mutchetts Close, Chichester Way, Cranfield Drive, Bucknalls Lane, Tudor Close and Coates Way.

Tuesday December 6 – Garston Lane and The Avenues

List of roads: Cuffley Avenue, Bovingdon Crescent, Codicote Drive, Gaddesdon Crescent, Garston Lane, Woodhurst Avenue, Fourth Avenue, First Avenue, Second Avenue, and Third Avenue.

Thursday December 8 – Meriden estate

List of roads: The Phillipers, The Pelhams, Fairfolds, Bowmans Green, York Way, The Gossamers, Turnstones, Westlea Avenue, and Eastlea Avenue.

Thursday December 8 – Leggatts, North Watford

List of roads: Leggatts Wood Avenue, Ash Tree Road, Pomeroy Crescent, Berry Avenue, Cherry Tree Road, Hazel Tree Road, Oakdene Road, Beechwood Rise, St Albans Road, Bushey Mill Crescent and Northfields Gardens.

Monday December 12 – Knutsford, North Watford

List of roads: Sandringham Road, Southfield Road, Westfield Avenue, Norfolk Avenue, Munden Grove, Westfield Avenue, Knutsford Avenue and Hibbert Avenue.

Tuesday December 13 – Tudor estate

List of roads: Douglas Avenue, Tudor Avenue, Bushey Mill Lane, Tudor Walk, Knutsford Avenue, Westfield Avenue, Eastfield Avenue, Tavistock Road, Devon Road, Byron Avenue, and Carisbrooke Avenue.

Wednesday December 14 - Leavesden and Woodside

List of roads: Haines Way, Queenswood Crescent, Ganders Ash, Stud Green, The Brow, Louvain Way, Weall Green, and Newhouse Crescent.

Thursday December 15 - Kingswood estate (1)

List of roads: North Approach, Greenwood Drive, Fern Way, Kingswood Road, Hillingdon Road, Meadow Road, Perivale Gardens, Briar Road, Appletree Walk, and Sycamore Close.

Friday December 16 – Kingswood estate (2)

List of roads: Moss Road, Kingswood Road, Briar Road, North Approach, Orbital Crescent, Evans Avenue, Clarke Way, Rushton Avenue end, Harris Road, Ross Crescent, Hemming Way, and Summerfield Road.

Monday December 19 – Cassiobury estate (1)

List of roads: Langley Way, Hartford Drive, Devereux Drive, Woodland Drive, The Gardens, Orchard Close, and Orchard Drive.

Tuesday December 20 – Cassiobury estate (2)

List of roads: Cassiobury Drive, Belmont Wood Drive, Langley Way, Richmond Drive, and Parkside Drive.
