Four-way temporary traffic lights could cause disruption for motorists for the rest of the week.

The roadworks on the edge of Bushey Heath have been causing travel delays since last Thursday (December 1).

Harrow Council has granted UK Power Networks a permit to carry out work at the crossroads of High Road, Magpie Hall Road, Common Road, and The Common towards Stanmore.

According to traffic data management website One Network, the work could last until Friday (December 9).

The temporary lights have been causing queues on all approaches, particularly through Bushey Heath and in Common Road from Harrow.

Drivers should also be aware of some upcoming roadworks which have the potential to cause significant travel delays in and around Bushey.

Planned cable installation work is taking place on the A41 Tylers Way between the junctions of Sandy Lane and Dagger Lane.

The work will begin on December 14 and is scheduled to last until January 8 with temporary traffic lights in operation.
