The deadline for primary, junior and middle school admission date looms.
Applications must be made online to Hertfordshire County Council (HCC) by January 15, for pupils to start in September 2023.
On the application, parents can list up to four schools in order of preference.

Confirmation of school places will be released via email on April 17 and HCC also uploads the information on the admission system in the evening.
Parents have until May 1 to either accept or decline the offer.
However, according to HCC, if the place is not accepted or declined it might be offered to someone else’s child.
The council will then offer your child a place at the nearest school that has availability.
HCC has advised the school place is accepted so the children have places at schools in September.
They added that accepting a place will not affect parents’ chances to getting a preferred school later, either through the continuing interest process of through a school admission appeal.
