With two construction workers taking their own lives every working day, raising awareness of the importance of mental health is a top priority for the Home Builders Federation.

Mr Russell said: “It is more important than ever to break down the stigma and encourage open discussion when it comes to mental health.
“This area is of huge importance to me and is why I reintroduced my bill to make mental health first aid training a legal requirement in every workplace.”
The Home Builders Federation and its members have been working to raise awareness of the importance of good mental health since the launch of their campaign in 2019.
More than 50 developers have signed up to support the Building Mental Health Framework, and the building industry has trained more than 1,000 Mental Health First Aiders.
