A proposal to convert a former high street restaurant into residential units is among the planning applications submitted to Watford, Three Rivers, Hertsmere and Dacorum councils.

An application has been submitted to Watford Borough Council to convert the first floor of 136 High Street, which was formerly occupied by Jimmy's World restaurant, into eight residential units.

A design and access statement states five of these "will be formed by cutting back the existing roof in line with the second floor residential terraces".
