The chamber's CEO, Chris Luff MBE, added: "Employers and employees find it valuable to get recognised for the hard work they do, especially in a time when business isn’t easy coming out of the pandemic.

"Winning an award can showcase a company’s excellence and let potential customers know they’re a quality business.

"But it’s not just about winning, the application process itself encourages businesses to look inwards and evaluate their strengths and weaknesses, whilst the SME community is a great way to learn from other businesses.”
