A man has been convicted after pleading guilty to fly tipping 20 sacks of rubble and soil.

Gary Davison of Walters Court, Watford was ordered to pay £420 for the offence that occurred in Barnes Lane, Kings Langley, on August 27, 2022.

In unrelated fly tipping offences, three other people also were also convicted on April 12 at St Albans Magistrates’ Court after pleading guilty.

The guilty pleas were either to the unauthorised deposit of controlled waste or failing in their householder duty of care to transfer waste to an authorised person.

The four defendants were collectively ordered to pay fines of £2,706, costs of £2,134.92 and victim surcharges of £988.

Jose Brinca of Friesan Close, Luton, was caught on covert cameras fly tipping in Coles Lane, Flamstead, on June 29 and 30, 2022. He was ordered to pay £4,368.92.

Dacorum Borough Council investigated another incident in Guinery Grove, Hemel Hempstead where a tipper truck load of household clearance waste was found for which Kelsey Owens of Hilltop, Redbourn was responsible for. She was instructed to pay £704 for the offence.

Constantin-Stefan Galca of Heacham Close, Luton was charged £336 after being found responsible for and a large pile of mixed domestic waste that was dumped at Holtsmere End Lane in Hemel Hempstead.
