A proposal to relocate a nursery school building to another school is among the planning applications in Watford, Three Rivers, Hertsmere and Dacorum councils.

Hartsbourne Primary School, in Bushey, has applied for permission to Hertsmere Borough Council to install a single storey modular unit and associated play area to expand its education offer to children of nursery age who have siblings at the school, as well as within its catchment area.

A design and access statement with the application states: "The proposal is to relocate the existing nursery unit from Little Reddings Primary School, which is also part of the Bushey St James Trust, that is being redeveloped under the DfE School Rebuilding Programme where the facility is not required.

"The existing building is a modular unit that will be stripped out, separated, and transported and refitted to suit the new location."
