A CCTV image of two people has been released as they might have information about a burglary in Watford, according to police.

The incident took place at the Card Factory located inside Asda, on St Albans Road, between 3.20pm and 3.25pm on Saturday May 27.

Police said they were called to a report that “a mobile phone had been stolen from the staff stock room”.

It is thought a shop worker had been asked to help with translating product names using a translation system.

When the worker walked into the stockroom and noticed a man had followed them, they asked the man to leave, and afterwards they realised their phone had been taken.

PC Ben James of Watford CSP who is investigating said: “The people in the image are thought to have been in the area around the time of this incident and may have information that could help with enquiries.
