- Fire crews from Herts Fire and Rescue were called to the clockwise M25, between junction 18 (Amersham) and 19 (Watford) at around 12.43pm.
- They found a van "well alight" which was then extinguished.
- Recovery is now underway which has resulted in two lanes being closed.
- There were hour long delays at 2pm.
- The road was reopened by around 2.40pm.
- Delays had mostly cleared as of 3pm.
