- Just after 5pm National Highways confirmed that three lanes were closed between Junctions 10 and 11 on the northbound M1 following a crash.
- Once emergency services arrived all traffic was stopped.
- All lanes have since reopened.
- Queues on the motorway had stretched back to Watford.
- Police have bee contacted for more information.
