- The closure follows a car crashing into a tree in the road, the fire service was called at 11.38am.
- HCC Highways confirmed it was in place, both ways, just after 12pm.
- Police have asked motorists to find alternative routes "whilst emergency services work at the scene".
- The force has been contacted for more information.
- The road has now re-opened.
