- Traffic officers and contractors are assisting with strategic closures
- Officers have confirmed that a man has died at the scene of the crash
- Another man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving
- Another crash has happened on the M1 northbound between junction 8 and 9
- The A414 has now re-opened westbound between the M1 J8 and the A405 St Albans
- All roads have now re-opened
