- Anti-clockwise M25 traffic was held near Potters Bar.
- Two lanes were then opened before the road was closed again at around 5.20pm, near Enfield.
- The initial closure was confirmed by National Highways at 4pm.
- It followed a "multi-vehicle crash" in the motorway.
- Emergency services were at the scene.
- Google Maps had reported delays as long as an-hour-and-a half .
