Applications for next year's secondary school places have officially opened ahead of the deadline next month.
It is a busy time of year, with many families needing to visit numerous schools to decide which is the best fit.
Parents have until October 31 to apply to get a place, with the allocation date being March 1 next year.
Parents will then have 14 days to accept or decline the offer for the child’s school place.

St Michael’s Catholic High School – Wednesday, September 20
The Grange Academy Bushey – Tuesday, September 26
Watford Grammar School for Boys – Saturday, October 7
Watford Grammar School for Girls – Thursday, October 12
Westfield Academy – Thursday, October 5
